I've lost half a stone this week. Only because I haven't eaten through being ill should put it back on easily enough!

Just remember guys, that when you exercise whilst dieting. You'll lose the weight then put some back on as muscle.
Don't be disheartened if this happens. (bearing in mind your diet stays the same and no secret binges).

4 Months to go and i shall be Driving again! Fingers crossed :P

Dieting is for Homo's and Justin Bieber fans.

I would say that is your answer.

I'm still 13st, have been since I was about 18, I've gained strength from when I was rowing but stayed the same, lost it as fat and put it on in my legs, but my upper body is still weedy as hell... But then I'm 6'5... So I'm frikkin' lanky - I find it SO hard to gain any weight, I eat as well as I can, I go to the gym...

My metabolism is a bitch.

I think there are psychological benefits to exercising even if you permanently eat junk :)

You can always put on muscle. I weighed 8 stone when I was 16 . Was proper skinny and always was as a child. Yet with eating properly and healthy snacks every hour, along with proper training I have put on a lot of size from what I was! It needs to be done properly

Not saying you aren't doing it properly just eat every hour and train harder!

It doesn't need to be expensive! Snacks can be fruit, cereal bars, ham sandwich, anything really!

I probably don't eat enough for my metabolism... But I do try...

Cereal every morning, usually a cereal bar about 11, then usually have a meat filled sandwich for lunch, decent dinner - pasta/rice/potato and then some variety of meat along with and all the gubbins extra... And usually go to the gym for an hour 5 times a week, but spread so I have a 1 day break...

I do try, but nowt seems to happen, I know it's something I'm doing wrong - it's trying to find what it is!

I would eat more. You wouldn't like to know what I eat haha. It could also be what you do in the gym.

Ruan, as said with your body type, you probably need to eat more :) loads of lean meats and slow released carbs, oats, brown rice etc.

I'm struggling loads to put weight on, am eating as often as I can/an remember, but have gained around 5kg in around 6 months, so getting there, have just tried to eat a meal every 2-3 hours, and changing what I do in the gym.
