only problem is i think its a bit too loud its ok going along at 70+ but 1st and 2nd gear are quite loud lol i feel kind of embaressed to drive my car seeing as im a girl but what do you all think ??? shall i leave it as it is or have a silencer put in???? ;)

I think that if you're embarassed about it now, its gonna get louder when it cokes up, so i'd get a silencer put in tbh

Erm....surly it will get quieter when it cokes up.....thats what i have genrally found...sounds ok to me, but if you dont like it, get the backbox changed for something with more baffle material in...

i would say that sound ok and not to loud, but if you feel embarassed driving it, just get a silencer you could put in and remove when you want to.

sounds a little growly!, but depends if you think you will get fed up with it... maybe just a rear silencer would be enough and it will still be free flowing...B)

If you find it a bit on the loud side, get it toned down! You're the only one who has to put up with it!

I haven't heard it yet but I had to have mine quieter to get on the track at combe and it was 140 for a mid box and a new exhaust tip. Although they didn't do that and put a whole new larger back box on for the same price to keep it free flowing. I use to love my noisey exhaust :) it use to bark at people when I planted my foot down :) but would leave my ears ringing after a motor way drive and now im alot happier :) if you want to compare to mine just let me know

I think your exhaust is little louder than mine, it was filmed in quiet tradding estate delivery bit where lorries unload into the warehouse at 10:00 sono one is about then :)

That's my derv bus when the exhaust was basically brand new, just a piece of pipe from turbo to tip, nothing in there, the rozzers took a major disliking and have now had to put a backbox on, I used to love that sound :(

Deffo wont get on track at coombe for sure lauren...it sounds good..but like i said, if you dont like it, get a box put in, it wont effect performance as long as its a nice free flowing one..

And ruan...listen to that derv bus on blow in 3rd/4th, gotta love it :D

i personally love the sound of all these video's great stuff guys

i adore the sound of my longlife. again i only have the single small box on the back which i think is great

it drowns out the tractor noise from the front and replaces it with a modest growl from the back  nice

thanks for all your opinions! i wouldnt take it out on track anyway not any time soon, going back to longlife this saturday as i want them to position the backbox a bit better, its not as good as they done it first time so i will see how much a silencer will cost :)

hey peeps, not had chance to listen to all the vids yet but it seems you are all having fun.

anyone got any objections for me using these vids in the future to make up a diesel exhausts guide? lots of people are looking for this kind of info and it will give them an idea of what a derv zorst sounds like before they part with huge wads of cash.

thx in advance
