How to remove an EGR Valve

Circled above in red is the general location of the Egr Valve

above pictured is the connector to the valve (arrowed green conector)
to find the valve is easy stand by the passanger wing look down the side to where the induction/airbox connects to the big black pipe that runs around the back of the intercooler
if you stand head on to your car look down the back of your battery and ull find it
make sure the engine is off and has time to cool before doing this (also must be off so that the egr is closed (disconecting it stops the power opening it)
prize the metal clip off and pull the connector down to disconect - leave at that -

- improves pick up from low revs - very small improvement
- improves engine noise (quietens it) bigest factor
- improves smokeyness
